Sausage Meat Pie

Ingredientes

  • 1 pound bulk sausage
  • 3 med. potatoes, peeled & sliced
  • 2 med. onions, sliced
  • 1 carrot, sliced
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 c. biscuit mix
  • 1/4 c. cool water

Direcciones

  1. Cook sausage till browned, stirring to crumble. Drain well on paper towels; return to skillet. Add in vegetables, 1 1/2 c. water and salt; cover and simmer 15-20 min. Spoon meat mix and liquid into a 9 inch square baking dish.
  2. Combine biscuit mix and 1/4 c. cool water, stirring with a fork to make a soft dough; beat well 20 strokes. Place dough on a lightly floured surface; roll to a 9 inch square. Place on top of meat mix; cut slashes in crust to allow steam to escape. Bake at 450 degrees for 12-15 min.
