Sausage Supper Soup

Ingredientes

  • 1 pound Polish sausage, sliced
  • 1 lg. onion, minced
  • 1 c. sliced carrots
  • 1 c. sliced celery
  • 1 (20 ounce.) can whole peeled tomatoes, cut up
  • 2 potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 c. dry spinach noodles
  • 3 tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 6 c. beef stock
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. dry white wine
  • 3 c. shredded cabbage
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Direcciones

  1. In large saucepot, lightly brown sausage. Remove and drain on paper towel. Drain off fat from saucepot. Place all other ingredients and sausage in saucepot, except cabbage, salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese. Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 1 hour. Add in cabbage and cook about 15 min longer or possibly till desired doneness. Add in seasonings. Serve topped with Parmesan cheese. Makes 8 servings.
