Sausage Upside Down Corn Bread

Ingredientes

  • 1 pound bulk sausage
  • 1 c. minced onion
  • 1/2 c. minced green pepper
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon chili pwdr
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 ounce. cheese in sm. cubes
  • 1 c. sliced or possibly minced olives
  • 2 Packages corn muffin mix or possibly 1 batch corn bread

Direcciones

  1. Cook sausage, onion, pepper in skillet till sausage is brown and crumbly. Stir in flour, fold in tomato pate and spices. Remove from heat; stir in cheese and olives. Spread proportionately in a 9 inch square pan.
  2. Mix up muffin mix or possibly corn bread, spread over sausage mix. Bake 30-35 min. Let stand 5 min. Loosen edges. Turn over onto plate for upside down corn bread. Serves 6.
