Sauteed Garlic Salad Dressing

Ingredientes

  • 1 Tbsp. Wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 c. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp Garlic (heaping) or possibly
  • 2 lrg Garlic cloves, fine minced
  •     Salt & freshly grnd pepper
  •     Torn lettuce to serve 4
  • 1 lrg Tomato, seeded & minced, or possibly
  • 2 sm Tomatoes
  • 1/4 c. Fresh chives, minced
  •     Salt and pepper
  • 1/2 c. Walnuts, toasted
  • 2 Tbsp. Grated Asiago cheese or possibly
  •     Fresh Parmesan cheese*

Direcciones

  1. Use up to 3 tb. of cheese, according to taste.
  2. In a bowl or possibly blender, combine vinegar, lemon juice and mustard.
  3. In a small skillet, heat extra virgin olive oil. Add in garlic; saute/fry till just golden brown.
  4. Gradually whisk in the vinegar mix, blending thoroughly. Add in salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Pour dressing over salad bowl containing the lettuce and tomato; sprinkle walnuts and cheese over the salad before serving.
