These cheddar-wrapped olives are
oldie, but
I posted them way back here when I first started this blog and thought it was time for a repeat.
Maybe you remember from yesteryear all the cocktail franks, the small meatballs, or the crustless triangular sandwiches served with highballs, and other cocktails. All those single-bite little appetizers that could be speared with a toothpick.
These cheese-wrapped olives are from that era and are still popular today. They’re easy to make and bake ~ just wrap the olives in a tasty cheddar dough and bake until golden.
Usually, I make a double batch, and store them in the freezer. They’re a great treat to pull out for unexpected company, that can be baked quickly, without thawing.…
