Time for family, friends, football and FOOD!
Acerca de mí
My passion is food whether it is cooking, baking, eating, talking about it or reading about it. Cooking for family and friends is my way of showing some love. I hope you take a look at my blog to see what's cooking in the Midwest!
Influencias de Cocina
My mother. She was a fantastic cook who loved to entertain and always cooked from scratch; no cake mixes and bottled sauces for her! I loved to stand beside her as she cooked and explained procedures to me. She was well-known for her delicious pies; her flaky pie crust. I have not mastered that yet, still working on it...

- 21 de Junio de 2011Hi, Amos! Thank you and right back at ya! That's cool---not too many people have heard of the tiny town of Cary! When I was a kid growing up in Ohio, we spent many summer vacations around different areas of MI and just recently, hubby and I went to Saugatuck. MI is a beautiful state! I will definitely be looking around at all your recipes and trying some of them out. Happy cooking! Pam
