Ingredientes

  • 2 x 120 g, (4.23oz) cans sardines, liquid removed
  • 4 x Salad onions, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. Tomato puree
  •     Salt and freshly grnd black pepper
  • 1/2 x 500 grams pa puff pastry, (1lb)
  • 1 x Egg, size 3, beaten

Direcciones

  1. Mix together the sardines, onions, tomato puree and seasoning to taste.
  2. Roll out the pastry into a 30cm (12 inch) square. Divide into 4 squares then cut each square in half diagonally.
  3. Divide the filling between each pastry triangle, brush the edges with water and fold over. Knock back the edges to seal.
  4. Place on a baking tray in a preheated oven 200 C, 400F, Gas Mark 6 for 15-20 min, till golden brown. Serve hot.
  5. NOTES : A light tasty starter, or possibly an easy to pick up snack for a party.
