Ingredientes

  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 c. diced raw pork, loin
  • 1 c. diced dry Chinese mushroom, softened in hot water
  • 1 c. diced water chestnuts
  • 2 x scallion, white part only, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. light soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. oyster sauce
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 1/2 c. short grain rice
  • 1/2 c. long grain rice
  • 2 1/2 c. water
  • 2 x links sweet Chinese sausage, steamed
  • 2 x scallion, green part only, for garnish

Direcciones

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a wok. Saute/fry pork, mushrooms, water chestnuts and scallions for about 3 min or possibly till scallions start to soften.
  2. Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt, sugar and sesame oil. Cook about 2 to 3 min longer or possibly till pork is completely cooked.
  3. Set aside the pork mix while rice is cooking.
  4. Rinse short grain and long grain rice together till water runs clear. Soak rice for 10 min in lots of water. Drain rice.
  5. Put 21/2 c. of fresh water and the rinsed rice in a saucepan. Cover and bring to a boil, then immediately reduce heat to low. Cook for 5 min.
  6. Place the steamed sausage on the top of the rice to steam for another 20 min.
  7. Remove sausages and cut into a medium dice. Combine sausage with the pork mix.
  8. Mix together with the rice. Garnish with the greens of the scallions. Serve.
