Ingredientes

  • 4 c. Shredded cabbage
  • 2 c. Water
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 4 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • 1 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. Liquid from cabbage
  • 4 Tbsp. Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 c. Cheez Whiz

Direcciones

  1. Cook cabbage for 10 min. Drain. Save 1/2 c. liquid for sauce.
  2. Sauce: 1 medium onion, finely minced Heat butter in 2 qt saucepan, blend in salt and pepper and flour. Stir in lowfat milk and cabbage liquid. Cook stirring constantly till sauce thickens. Boil 1 minute. Add in onion and Cheez Whiz. Cook till cheese melts. Place liquid removed cabbage in buttered dish
  3. (baking). Cover cabbage with sauce and mix with fork. Top with cheese cracker crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 min or possibly till bubbly and brown on top.
