Ingredientes

  • 6-8 potatoes, according to size
  • 2 tbsp. chopped onion
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • Leftover ham as desired
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • 1 quart. lowfat milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Cracker crumbs or possibly substitute

Direcciones

  1. Peel potatoes and slice thin. Place a layer of potatoes in a flat baking dish. Sprinkle lightly with flour; add in a layer of diced ham. Sprinkle with chopped onion. Alternate layer of potatoes and ham till all is used.
  2. Scald the lowfat milk; add in the butter, salt and pour over top. Put a ring of cracker crumbs around inside of pan. This prevents it from boiling over. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or possibly till done and lightly browned on top.
