Scalloped Potatoes With Pork Chops

Ingredientes

  • 6 pork chops (1/2 inch thick)
  • 1 tbsp. veg. oil
  • 5 c. sliced, pared potatoes
  • 6 slices American cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 c. minced green onions
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce.) can cream of celery or possibly cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 1/4 c. lowfat milk

Direcciones

  1. Brown pork chops on one side in warm oil. Remove chops. Reserve drippings. Place half of potatoes in a GREASED 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Top with cheese and remaining potatoes. Place pork chops, browned side up on potatoes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook onions in drippings till tender. Add in soup and lowfat milk. Heat. Pour over chops. Cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Remove cover and bake 30 min longer or possibly till meat and potatoes are tender.
