Ingredientes

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 4 T cocoa, rounded
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 stick butter
  • 6 T lowfat milk
  • 4 T cocoa, rounded
  • 1 box powdered sugar
  • 1 c. pecans, minced
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Direcciones

  1. Mix flour and sugar together in a bowl. In saucepan heat butter, Crisco, cocoa and water. Bring to a boil and pour over flour-sugar mix. Mix well. Add in buttermilk, large eggs, soda and vanilla. Mix well. Bake in greased 9 x 13 inch pan at 350 degrees for 30 min.While cake is hot, heat butter, lowfat milk and cocoa. Bring to a boil. Add in powdered sugar and vanilla. Use mixer to smooth out any lumps of powdered sugar. Add in nuts and spread on cake while still hot.
