%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20had%20a%20piece%20of%20chuck%20roast%20that%20I%20bought%20the%20other%20day.%20I%20had%20thought%20I%20would%20make%20a%20pot%20roast%20of%20some%20kind%20in%20my%20crockpot.%20I%20just%20didn't%20feel%20like%20cooking%20alot.%20I%20wandered%20online%20and%20all%20I%20saw%20were%20those%20crummy%20recipes%20that%20add%20onion%20soup%20mix%20and%20the%20like.%20I%20really%20didn't%20want%20that.%20I%20wanted%20alot%20more.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThen%20I%20remembered%20some%20Italian%20beef%20roast%20I%20had%20long%20ago%20and%20it%20was%20delicious.%20So%20I%20wandered%20online%20looking%20for%20something%20like%20that.%20This%20is%20what%20I%20ended%20up%20with.%20I%20will%20say%20I%20only%20used%20the%20pizza%20sauce%20and%20the%20au%20jus%20because%20I%20didn't%20have%20what%20I%20really%20wanted,%20in%20the%20house.%20I%20had%20preferred%20to%20use%20some%20canned%20tomatoes%20and%20beef%20broth.%20Honestly%20tho%20the%20extra%20flavors%20in%20the%20pizza%20sauce%20made%20this%20special.%20If%20I%20decide%20to%20do%20this%20without%20that%20sauce%20next%20time,%20Ill%20just%20use%20tomato%20paste%20and%20toss%20in%20some%20oregano.%20I%20told%20my%20bf,%20be%20prepared,%20this%20is%20gonna%20either%20be%20really%20good%20or%20really%20bad%20lol.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20did%20want%20to%20put%20this%20over%20buttered%20noodles%20but%20didn't%20have%20that%20in%20the%20house%20either.%20I%20thought%20polenta%20would%20be%20yummy%20but%20I%20got%20lazy.%20In%20the%20end%20the%20pasta%20I%20decided%20to%20make%20actually%20was%20the%20perfect%20thing.%20This%20makes%20an%20incredibly%20rich%20and%20luscious%20sauce.%20My%20bf%20all%20nite%20was%20raving%20about%20this.%20He%20really,%20really%20enjoyed%20it.%20And%20I%20think%20the%20sauce%20over%20that%20pasta%20was%20a%20great%20combo......the%20sour%20cream%20and%20cheese%20helped%20thicken%20the%20sauce%20on%20the%20plate%20and%20that%20lil%20added%20flavor%20from%20the%20pasta%20put%20it%20over%20the%20top.%20This%20is%20definitely%20a%20good%20experiment%20and%20Ill%20be%20making%20it%20again%20sometime.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20cooked%20this%20in%20a%20crock%20pot.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20skillet%20drizzle%20a%20bit%20of%20olive%20oil%20and%20turn%20heat%20to%20high.%20When%20oil%20is%20hot%20put%20roast%20that%20has%20been%20sprinkled%20with%20S%20&%20P%20in.%20Brown%20on%20both%20sides%20till%20nice%20and%20caramelized.%20If%20heat%20is%20too%20high,%20lower%20a%20bit,%20you%20don't%20want%20it%20to%20burn%20but%20its%20necessary%20to%20start%20it%20going.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20the%20meantime%20do%20the%20carrots%20and%20add%20to%20crockpot.%20Then%20do%20mushrooms%20and%20add%20also.%20When%20meat%20is%20browned%20nicely%20put%20in%20crockpot%20on%20top%20of%20veggies.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMeanwhile%20toss%20the%20onion%20in%20and%20saute%20a%20bit%20in%20the%20leftover%20oil%20and%20beef%20juices.%20This%20will%20help%20use%20up%20the%20yummy%20browned%20bits%20and%20caramelize%20the%20onions%20a%20bit%20too.%20When%20almost%20done,%20add%20garlic%20and%20saute%20till%20soft.%20Do%20not%20burn%20garlic,%20it%20will%20make%20it%20bitter.%20Then%20add%20to%20the%20crock%20pot.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAs%20the%20peas%20were%20cooking,%20I%20cooked%20the%20pasta,%20then%20tossed%20with%20the%20sour%20cream%20and%20Parmesan%20cheese.%20Serve%20the%20beef%20and%20its%20luscious%20juices%20over%20all.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
