Shallot Chili Sauce (Sambal Bawang)

Ingredientes

  • 20 x shallots peeled and sliced
  • 12 x red chilies seeded and sliced
  • 8 x garlic cloves peeled and sliced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp. dry shrimp paste (terasi) toasted
  • 1 Tbsp. lime juice
  • 1 c. oil

Direcciones

  1. Heat oil over medium-high heat. Saute/fry all ingredients except for the lime juice for approximately 2 to 3 min. Cold, then add in the lime juice.
  2. Keeps up to 1 week or possibly longer if refrigerated.
