- Defrost shrimp and de-vein if necessary. Chop finely (about 2 cups), heat 3 tbsp Crisco. Blend in flour, add in lowfat milk. Cook and stir over medium heat till VERY THICK and smooth, remove from heat. Add in onion, parsley, lemon juice and seasonings, stir in cooked shrimp.Preheat Crisco for frying to 350 degrees. Shape shrimp mix into 8 cones, about 1/4 cup for each. Roll in crumbs, put together egg with water. Dip cones in egg mix, roll in crumbs again. Deep fry in preheated Crisco till brown, about 3 min. Prepare peas according to package.
