Receta Shrimp & Sausage Jambalaya

Ingredientes
- 1 med. onion, minced
- 1 green pepper, minced
- 2 stalks celery, sliced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp. oil
- 1/2 pound Polish sausage
- 1/2 pound Italian sausage
- 2 c. rice
- 4 c. beef broth
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 c. stewed tomatoes, minced
- Tabasco sauce
- 1 pound shrimp, boiled & cleaned
Direcciones
- Cook and stir onion, green pepper, celery and garlic in oil. In another pot boil fresh Italian sausage 10 min. Remove and slice into bite size pcs. Also slice Polish sausage into bite size pcs and add in to vegetables. Add in rice and cook till light brown, about 15 min. Stir in broth, salt, thyme, oregano, bay leaves, warm sauce and tomatoes. Heat to boiling, reduce heat. Cover and simmer till rice is tender, about 15 min. Add in shrimp and it is ready to be served.
