Shrimp With Snow Peas And Water Chestnuts

Ingredientes

  • 1/2 lb Shrimp, peeled and split
  •     Removed
  •     Salt
  • 1/2 c. Water chestnuts, sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. Wine, Shaoxing or possibly dry sher
  • 1 Tbsp. Soy sauce
  •     Oil for stir frying
  • 1/2 tsp Cornstarch dissolved in
  • 1 Tbsp. Ginger, chopped
  • 1/2 c. Water or possibly stock
  • 1/2 lb Peas, snow, stems and string

Direcciones

  1. Toss shrimp with salt, add in wine and marinate 20 minute to several hrs.
  2. Drain shrimp and reserve marinade. Heat wok on high heat, add in oil. Add in ginger, stir-fry till fragrant and add in shrimp. Stir-fry till shrimp are opaque, 2 to 4 min depending on size. Add in snow peas and wter chestnuts; stir-fry till just heated through. Add in reserved marinade, soy sauce and cornstarch mix. Bring to boil and cook till sauce thickens. Serve immediately.
