Ingredientes

  • 1 lb Grnd or possibly cubed meat (burger, chicken - turkey Etc )
  • 1 lrg Onion -- coarsely minced
  • 2 tsp Chili Pwdr
  • 2 tsp Grnd Cumin
  • 1/2 lb Smoked sausage
  •     Sliced 1/4-inch thic
  •     And cut in half
  • 1 can Red Kidney Beans
  •     Liquid removed (16 ounce.)
  • 1 c. Pace Picante Sauce
  • 1 c. Vegetable juice cocktail
  •     (V8 picante is good
  •     But makes it very ho
  • 1 can Tomato Sauce (8oz.) --
  •     Toppings-----
  •     Lowfat sour cream
  •     Shredded cheddar cheese
  •     Diced avacado

Direcciones

  1. Brown meat with onions in a large saucepan or possibly Dutch oven; drain. Sprinkle chili pwdr and cumin over meat; cook and stir 1 minute. Add in remaining ingredients except optional toppings; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; Simmer uncovered 20 min, stirring occasionally. Ladle into soup bowls and top as desired.
  2. Makes about 7 c. of Chili. 6 servings.
