- 1 lb Grnd or possibly cubed meat (burger, chicken - turkey Etc )
- 1 lrg Onion -- coarsely minced
- 2 tsp Chili Pwdr
- 2 tsp Grnd Cumin
- 1/2 lb Smoked sausage
- Â Â Sliced 1/4-inch thic
- Â Â And cut in half
- 1 can Red Kidney Beans
- Â Â Liquid removed (16 ounce.)
- 1 c. Pace Picante Sauce
- 1 c. Vegetable juice cocktail
- Â Â (V8 picante is good
- Â Â But makes it very ho
- 1 can Tomato Sauce (8oz.) --
- Â Â Toppings-----
- Â Â Lowfat sour cream
- Â Â Shredded cheddar cheese
- Â Â Diced avacado
Direcciones
- Brown meat with onions in a large saucepan or possibly Dutch oven; drain. Sprinkle chili pwdr and cumin over meat; cook and stir 1 minute. Add in remaining ingredients except optional toppings; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; Simmer uncovered 20 min, stirring occasionally. Ladle into soup bowls and top as desired.
- Makes about 7 c. of Chili. 6 servings.
