%20is%20just%20a%20carrier%20for%20the%20yummy%20goodness%20inside!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFinally,%20I%20made%20some%20purchases%20from%20two%20websites.%20One%20is%20Sophia's%20Survival%20Food%20Grass-Fed%20Jerky%20Chews*,%20which,%20in%20my%20opinion,%20has%20reasonably-priced%20grass-fed%20jerky.%20I%20haven't%20had%20any%20jerky%20since%20starting%20Paleo,%20and%20I%20have%20been%20wanting%20to%20incorporate%20it%20into%20my%20diet%20because%20I%20want%20more%20protein-based%20snacks.%20I%20got%20two%20packages%20of%20each%20of%20three%20flavors:%20original,%20lemon,%20and%20mild.%20I%20got%20the%20lemon%20and%20original%20in%202%201-oz%20packages%20and%202%202-oz%20packages%20of%20the%20mild.%20I%20thought%20I%20would%20like%20the%20mild%20most,%20but%20I%20wanted%20to%20give%20the%20other%20flavors%20a%20chance.%20All%20are%20good,%20and%20I%20was%20pleased%20that%20the%20lemon%20flavor%20was%20not%20too%20overpowering.%20These%20made%20a%20great%20snack%20while%20I%20was%20studying%20at%20a%20coffee%20shop%20this%20weekend,%20and%20honestly%20the%20cost%20of%20the%20jerky%20was%20about%20the%20same%20as%20the%20cost%20of%20a%20piece%20of%20cake.%20Of%20course%20the%20jerky%20was%20better%20for%20me,%20and%20even%20though%201%20oz%20does%20not%20seem%20like%20a%20lot%20of%20food,%20with%20the%20raisins%20and%20half%20a%20pack%20of%20jerky%20I%20was%20quite%20satisfied;%20I%20didn't%20eat%20the%20mixed%20nuts%20this%20time.%20For%20me,%20a%20snack%20is%20just%20to%20tie%20me%20over,%20so%20I%20try%20not%20to%20stuff%20myself!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMild%20flavorOriginal%20flavorOriginal%20flavor%20with%20lemonThe%20little%20snack%20pack%20I%20made%20for%20myself%20with%20jerky,%20nuts,%20and%20raisins%20My%20final%20purchase%20was%20a%20huge%20one%20from%20nuts.com*,%20which%20has%20a%20great%20array%20of%20gluten-free%20snacks%20and%20no%20sugar%20added%20dried%20fruit.%20I%20got%20two%20of%20my%20favorite%20dried%20fruits%20without%20sugar,%20banana%20chips%20and%20dried%20pineapple.%20The%20dried%20pineapple%20also%20did%20not%20have%20added%20sulfur%20dioxide,%20which%20I%20thought%20was%20good.%20I%20was%20pleased%20with%20their%20reasonably-priced%20coconut%20flour,%20and%20I%20got%20the%20small%20no%20sugar%20added%20coconut%20flakes%20that%20I%20can't%20find%20where%20I%20live%20(I%20can%20only%20find%20the%20big%20shreds).%20I%20also%20got%20something%20novel,%20sun%20dried%20red%20bell%20peppers,%20which%20I%20suspect%20would%20be%20great%20in%20a%20meatloaf!%20All%20of%20these%20bags%20are%20a%20pound,%20so%20they%20will%20last%20a%20long%20time.%20In%20the%20half%20pound%20bags%20are%20energy%20squares,%20which%20are%20sort%20of%20like%20Larabars,%20just%20in%20cubes%20with%20a%20lot%20of%20interesting%20ingredients%20like%20chia%20seeds%20and%20goji%20berries.%20Luckily%20the%20ingredients%20are%20listed%20for%20those%20so%20it's%20easy%20to%20find%20the%20gluten-free,%20soy-free%20versions.%20In%20the%20round%20container%20are%20no%20sugar%20added%20apple%20chips,%20which%20are%20delicious!%20I%20think%20they%20are%20my%20favorite%20of%20everything%20I%20have%20tasted%20so%20far,%20mainly%20because%20they%20are%20crunchy!%20The%20small%20bags%20are%20the%20samples,%20which%20only%20cost%20$2.50%20each.%20I%20was%20nervous%20getting%20these%20because%20I%20thought%20they%20wouldn't%20be%20worth%20the%20price%20and%20quite%20tiny,%20but%20each%20portion%20is%20surprisingly%20generous!%20They%20even%20threw%20a%20free%20sample%20of%20quinoa%20in%20with%20my%20order.%20I%20don't%20normally%20eat%20quinoa,%20but%20since%20it%20is%20a%20pseudo-cereal%20seed%20more%20closely%20related%20to%20beets%20than%20grains%20and%20is%20gluten-free,%20I%20think%20it%20would%20be%20nice%20to%20try%20it%20out.%20It%20will%20be%20a%20treat%20that%20I%20earn%20after%20a%20tough%20workout.%20I%20appreciate%20that%20they%20added%20it%20to%20my%20order!%20I'm%20really%20pleased%20with%20this%20huge%20order%20and%20I%20can't%20wait%20to%20experiment%20with%20the%20peppers%20and%20coconut%20flour!%20These%20are%20going%20to%20be%20great%20snacks%20to%20keep%20in%20my%20office,%20too!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EEverything%20I%20gotOrganic%20Raw%20Cacao%20Goji%20Energy%20Squares.%20A%20change%20from%20my%20usual%20Larabars.Sample%20bags:%20(top%20L%20to%20R)%20pistachios,%20macadamias,%20cacao%20energy%20squares,%20goji%20berries.%20(bottom%20L%20to%20R)%20quinoa,%20cacao%20nibs,%20chia%20seeds(L%20to%20R)%20banana%20chips,%20coconut%20flakes,%20sun-dried%20peppers,%20dried%20pineapple,%20coconut%20flourCenter:%20apple%20chips.%20On%20either%20side%20are%20the%20energy%20squaresTheir%20little%20logos%20are%20so%20cute!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20hope%20this%20review%20helps%20you%20by%20livening%20up%20your%20snack%20choices!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E*These%20are%20my%20personal%20opinions.%20I%20am%20not%20sponsored%20by%20any%20of%20these%20companies.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
