Ingredientes

  • 4 x Large eggs, separated
  • 16 x 1.5-oz Snicker bars, cut
  • 1/4 c. Water
  • 2 Tbsp. Smooth peanut butter
  • 2 c. Unsifted flour
  • 3/4 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 c. Butter
  • 2 c. Sugar
  • 3 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 1/4 c. Buttermilk, divided

Direcciones

  1. Combine, in the top of a double boiler, the cut up snicker bars, water and peanut butter; heat and stir till well melted and blended. Cold. Mix together the flour, baking soda and the salt. Set aside. In a large bowl, cream butter thoroughly; gradually add in sugar and beat till fluffy. Beat in 4 unbeaten egg yolks and add in vanilla; beat in the cooled candy bar mix, mixing till smooth and adding 1/4 c. buttermilk. Stir in the flour mix alternately with the remaining c. of buttermilk; mix only till blended.
  2. Gently mix in 4 stiffly beaten egg whites. Divide batter proportionately into 2 greased and floured 9 inch SQUARE pans and bake in a preheated 350 oven for 45 to 55 min. Cold in pans on rack for 5 min, turn out and finish cooling on rack. Serve with sweetened whip cream.
