  • 2 Large eggs
  • Vanilla
  • 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • 2 tbsp. ginger

  1. 18th Century - Rub two pounds of sugar, one lb. of butter, into four pounds of flour, add in eight Large eggs, one oz ginger, one pint lowfat milk, four spoons rose water, bake 15 min.
  2. 20th Century - Adaptation: Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 min.
