Ingredientes

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons butter, melted
  • 1 tsp almond extract
  • 4 cups flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • Assorted colored sugars, optional

Direcciones

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs
  2. Add the cream
  3. Beat well
  4. Beat in the sugar, butter, and the almond extract
  5. Combine the flour and baking powder
  6. Gradually add to the sugar mixture
  7. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour or until easy to handle
  8. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to 1/4 inch thickness
  9. Cut with 2 1/2 inch cookie cutters dipped in the sugar
  10. Place 1 inch apart onto greased baking sheets.
  11. Sprinkle with the colored sugars, if desired
  12. Bake at 375 F for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned
  13. Remove to wire racks to cool
