Ingredientes
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons butter, melted
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 4 cups flour
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- Assorted colored sugars, optional
Direcciones
- In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs
- Add the cream
- Beat well
- Beat in the sugar, butter, and the almond extract
- Combine the flour and baking powder
- Gradually add to the sugar mixture
- Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour or until easy to handle
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to 1/4 inch thickness
- Cut with 2 1/2 inch cookie cutters dipped in the sugar
- Place 1 inch apart onto greased baking sheets.
- Sprinkle with the colored sugars, if desired
- Bake at 375 F for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned
- Remove to wire racks to cool
