Ingredientes

  • 1 c. Uncooked rice
  • 2 Tbsp. Corn oil
  • 1 sm Onion, minced
  • 2 x Cloves garlic, mashed
  •     Salt and pepper
  • 2 1/2 c. Chicken stock (see index)

Direcciones

  1. Saute/fry the dry rice in oil over low heat for 5 min.
  2. Add in the onion and garlic and saute/fry another 5 min.
  3. Add in salt and pepper to taste and stir in the stock.
  4. Cover tightly and finish cooking over your lowest heat for 30 to 40 min or possibly till the stock is absorbed. This is a sopa seca, or possibly dry soup.
