Sourdough Belgian Waffles

Ingredientes

  • 1 3/4 c. flour sifted
  • 2 tsp baking pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 3 x Large eggs separated
  • 1 c. sourdough starter
  • 3/4 c. lowfat milk
  • 6 Tbsp. butter melted

Direcciones

  1. Sift flour with baking pwdr, salt and sugar. Beat egg yolks, add in butter, starter and lowfat milk. Stir into flour mix. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form and then fold into batter. Spoon into preheated Belgian waffle iron, either well buttered or possibly teflon (I oil my teflon!) Bake about 5 min or possibly till beautifully golden! Let me know if you try these. I guarantee you'll never make another waffle recipe again! There are NO calories in these...it's all the good stuff you put on top!!!
