Ingredientes

  • 1 c. starter
  • 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tbsp. soft shortening
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 to 4 c. all-purpose flour

Direcciones

  1. Sprinkle 1 package dry yeast on 1/2 c. very hot water. Stir till dissolved.
  2. Add in: 1 teaspoon salt 2 c. hot water 2 c. all-purpose flour
  3. Mix well. Cover. Place in bowl where temperature is 78 degrees F. for 3 days. Stir the mix down daily.
  4. Use starter again: After 1 c. starter has been removed, add in: 1/2 c. flour 1 teaspoon sugar
  5. Add in to remaining starter. Cover and let stand till ready to use. Stir down daily.
