Ingredientes

  • 1 x Onion, peeled and grated
  • 2 sm Carrots, peeled and grated
  • 1 Tbsp. Oil
  • 400 gm Chopped beef, (13oz)
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  •     Freshly grnd blackpepper
  • 1 x 400 g can peeled minced tomatoes
  • 100 ml Tap water, (3 1/2 floz)
  • 400 gm Dry spaghetti, (13oz)

Direcciones

  1. Heat the oil in a saucepan, add in the onion and carrots and fry for 3 min.
  2. Add in the mince meat and fry further while stirring for 4 min till meat has turned brown in colour.
  3. Stir in the oregano, salt and pepper.
  4. Open the can of tomatoes and add in it to the saucepan with the water.
  5. Cover and put the saucepan on medium heat till the sauce boils. Then turn the heat down a little and simmer for 8 min.
  6. Cook the spaghetti in a big saucepan following the instruction on the packet.
  7. When cooked, drain off all the water by carefully pouring the spaghetti into a colander over the sink.
  8. Serve the cooked spaghetti with the bolognese sauce.
  9. NOTES : A delicious and traditional bolognese sauce which all children love.
