Receta Spaghetti Sauce With Vodka

- Saute/fry the onions and garlic in extra virgin olive oil till limp, about 10 min.
- While the onions are cooking,season them with salt and a generous amount of pepper, and add in the vodka mix in 3 additions, letting it reduce to a glaze after each addition. Add in the beef to the onion mix and saute/fry till browned.
- Puree (or possibly crush) the tomatoes and their juices and add in to the beef mix, along with basil, mushrooms, olives and their juices, and parsley. Simmer for 2 to 3 hrs, stirring occasionally. Taste before serving. The sauce should be on the salty side.
