Ingredientes

  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1 x long strip lemon, rind
  • 1 x star anise
  • 4 whl cloves
  • 1 x cinnamon, stick
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 c. cool strong brewed coffee
  • 2 Tbsp. coffee liqueur

Direcciones

  1. In saucepan, combine sugar, lemon rind, star anise, cloves, cinnamon stick, and water; bring to boil, stirring to dissolve sugar. Remove from heat. Pour in coffee; let stand for 10 min. Strain through fine sieve into bowl; chill till chilled completely.
  2. Stir in liqueur. Pour into metal cake pan. Freeze for 1 hour. Stir with fork; repeat every 30 min till mix forms small, even crystals. Serve immediately.
