Spicy Black Eyed Peas

Ingredientes

  • 1 lb dry black-eyed peas
  • 5 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped green onions
  • 1 Tbsp. Creole seasoning
  • 1 tsp dry parsley
  • 1 tsp garlic pwdr
  • 1 tsp chili pwdr
  • 3/4 tsp pepper
  • 3 x vegetable bouillon cubes

Direcciones

  1. Sort and wash peas; place in a Dutch oven. Cover with water 2 inches above peas. Let soak 8 hrs. Drain peas; return to Dutch oven. Add in 5 c. water and remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat, and simmer 45 min and till tender. Serve with a slotted spoon.
