Ingredientes

  • 2 c. Water
  • 1 Tbsp. Plus 1 tsp. Cajun or possibly Creole Seasoning
  • 1 lb Small shrimp, peeled
  • 1 lb Cream cheese, at room Temperature
  • 5 Tbsp. Reserved shrimp broth
  • 2 Tbsp. Lemon juice
  • 2 tsp Onion pwdr
  • 2 tsp Warm sauce
  • 1 tsp Garlic pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. Chopped green onion
  • 2 Tbsp. Chopped parsley

Direcciones

  1. Bring 2 c. of water to boil in medium pot. Add in 1 Tbsp. of Cajun or possibly Creole Seasoning.
  2. Add in shrimp, bring back to boil and simmer for 2 min.
  3. Remove shrimp, strain and reserve 5 Tbsp. shrimp broth.
  4. Refrigeratein refrigerator. This can be done a day ahead of time.
  5. Place cream cheese, reserved shrimp broth and lemon juice in bowl. Beat mix till smooth.
  6. Add in onion pwdr, warm sauce, garlic pwdr, salt and cayenne pepper and continue beating mix till completely blended.
  7. Mix in cooked shrimp, green onions and parsley.
  8. Serve with chips and crackers.
  9. Yields 2 pints of dip.
