Receta spicy stir fry squid (kerala style)
squids tossed with spices and onion and tomatoes.
Ingredientes
- squid 1 cup
- onion slice 1/2 cup
- tomato 1/4 cup
- ginger & garlic 2 tsp. each
- red chili pwd. 1 tsp.
- coriander pwd. 1/2 tsp.
- turmeric pwd. a pinch
- garam masala pwd. a pinch
- green chili 2 nos.
- salt to taste
- curry leaves few
- coconut slivers few
- cooking oil 2 tbsp
Direcciones
- cut and wash squid rings well. heat the frying pan, add green chili (cut in to two, lengthwise), ginger, garlic and onion slice. saute well till the onion changes its color to light brown. add powdered spices. if needed just sprinkle some water. let the raw smell of spices gone. add tomato saute well. add squid rings mix well. add salt as per requirement. serve hot with rice or Indian bread.
