Receta Spinach and cheese puffs
Awesome evening snack....Perfect for a get together...
Ingredientes
- Puff pastry sheet-1
- Spinach-4 cups
- Oil-1 tsp
- Garlic-3 cloves(finely chopped)
- Mozzarella cheese-3 tbsp
- Egg-1
- Water- 1 tbsp
Direcciones
- Take out the pastry sheet from the box and keep at room temperature for an hour
- Pre heat the oven to 400 degrees
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- In a pan, add oil
- When the oil is hot add garlic
- When the garlic is browned, add spinach
- Cook till all the water is gone and spinach is cooked
- Be careful in this step
- Any remaining water in the spinach can turn the puffs soggy
- Cool
- Mix egg with water
- Brush the pastry sheet with egg wash
- Cover with spinach and sprinkle cheese all over
- Roll to make a log
- Cut 1\2 inch pieces and bake for 15 minutes till the pastry is browned
- Serve hot with ketchup
