Spinach And Raspberry Salad

Ingredientes

  • 1 bag 10 ounce. spinach
  • 1/4 c. safflower oil
  • 2 Tbsp. raspberry vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. raspberry jam, seedless
  • 2 Tbsp. green onion, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 dsh Louisiana warm sauce
  •     dash pepper
  • 6 ounce raspberries fresh
  • 4 1/2 ounce round Brie, cubed
  • 3 1/2 ounce macadamia nuts (3/4 c. approx.) minced

Direcciones

  1. Wash and trim spinach: tear into bite-size pcs. Pat dry with paper towels. Combine oil and vinegar; whisk into jam. Stir in onions, salt, warm sauce and pepper. Pour into a medium bowl; place the spinach over the dressing in the bowl. Gently rinse berries; place upside down on paper towels to drain. Remove rind from Brie and slice Brie into 1/4" thick slices then dice.
  2. TO SERVE: Toss spinach with dressing. Arrange on individual salad plates. Sprinkle each salad with raspberries, Brie and nuts.

  4. Notes: This is a very special salad and fits wonderfully with a formal meal. It looks and tastes fantastic. Just like a picture in a food magazine, with the green spinach white brie and red berries. The nuts add in a nice crunch texture. It's wonderful!
