Receta Spinach Baked Egg
This Spinach Baked Egg has everything that’s comforting,creamed spinach, and an egg on top.
Spinach Baked Egg
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 1 cup packed fresh baby spinach leafs
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- salt and pepper to taste
- ½ Tablespoon almond meal
- ⅛ cup 2% milk
- 1 egg
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Melt butter in a skillet on medium high heat.
Add the spinach and cook until wilted about 3 minutes.
Add the onion powder and the garlic and saute about 30 seconds
Sprinkle flour over spinach mixture and stir until well combined.
Pour in the milk and continue to saute until it thickens.
Pour the cooked spinach into the ramekin and crack an egg on top of the spinach.
Season with salt and pepper.
Add the ramekin to the prepared pan of boiling water
Bake for about 20 minutes.

It was a cold and rainy Saturday. The hubby had to work all day and I decided to just stay in and catch up on blogging and other random things. (laundry, and house cleaning)
I just did not want to venture out in the rain.
So I trudged into the kitchen and opened the fridge. I stared at all the food and settled on making this incredible Spinach Baked Egg.
Someone please try it with kale and let me know how it turns out. (I am afraid of kale).
