%20and%20ate%20breakfast%20during%20class.%20%20A%20GoGo%20Squeez%20Apple%20Strawberry%20pouch,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eand%20a%20Peanut%20Butter%20Pretzel%20Mojo%20Bar.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBoth%20were%20good%20and%20the%20combo%20of%20salty%20and%20sweet%20was%20great.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFor%20lunch%20I%20had%20a%20Simply%20Asia%20Spicy%20Mongolian%20Noodle%20Bowl.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20guess%20it%20was%20the%20morning%20of%20packaged%20foods?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOther%20than%20the%20sodium%20content%20(which%20is%20something%20I%20don%E2%80%99t%20really%20worry%20about%20within%20my%20diet)%20the%20nutritionals%20on%20these%20bowls%20are%20pretty%20good%20and%20they%20allow%20you%20to%20get%20food%20in%20a%20hurry%20when%20you%E2%80%99re%20hungry.%20%201g%20of%20saturated%20fat%20and%2013g%20of%20protein%20in%20under%203%20minutes?%20%20I%E2%80%99ll%20take%20it!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20afternoon%20included%20an%20unsuccessful%20baking%20attempt.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMy%20goal%20was%20Guinness%20Chocolate%20Cupcakes%20with%20Bailey%E2%80%99s%20Buttercream%20for%20a%20St.%20Paddy%E2%80%99s%20Day%20treat.%20%20But%20I%20hate%20chocolate%20cake%20and%20I%20really%20hate%20Bailey%E2%80%99s%20Irish%20Cream%20so%20it%20actually%20wasn%E2%80%99t%20too%20big%20of%20a%20loss.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESince%20we%20won%E2%80%99t%20be%20telefundraising%20over%20break%20I%20volunteered%20to%20work%20the%20final%20shift%20last%20night.%20%20I%20drank%20a%20ProBugs%20Strawnana%20Split%20Kefir%20on%20the%20walk%20back%20to%20campus.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWork%20went%20well%20and%20at%208:30%20it%20was%20officially%20the%20start%20of%20spring%20break!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdam%20and%20I%20cashed%20in%20a%20meal%20out%20(and%20a%20Living%20Social%20deal)%20for%20dinner%20at%20Lagerhaus%2095.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThere,%20I%20drank%20water%20at%20a%20German%20beer%20house%20like%20a%20total%20loser.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%20had%20an%20amazing%20meal%20and%20are%20planning%20on%20going%20back%20next%20week%20with%20my%20mom.%20%20Adam%20and%20I%20split%20three%20things%20to%20maximize%20tastes.%20%20We%20started%20with%20the%20Camembert%20Fondue%20%E2%80%93%20Franziskaner%20infused%20camembert%20wheel%20/%20crisp%20apple%20slices%20/%20crusty%20sesame%20bread.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFondue%20is%20Adam%E2%80%99s%20and%20my%20favorite%20dish%20to%20share%20at%20new%20restaurants%20and%20this%20one%20did%20not%20disappoint.%20%20The%20Camembert%20was%20served%20on%20top%20of%20saut%C3%A9ed%20sweet%20onions%20and%20the%20flavor%20mix%20was%20magical.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENext%20we%20had%20the%20special,%20a%20Crab%20cake%20Sandwich.%20%20It%20was%20served%20with%20vinegary%20cole%20slaw%20and%20crisp%20green%20apples%20on%20a%20brioche%20bun.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20hate%20crab%20cakes%20that%20are%20full%20of%20breadcrumbs%20and%20this%20guy%20was%20super%20meaty%20and%20perfect.%20%20The%20bun%20was%20almost%20sweet%20which%20was%20an%20interesting%20contrast.%20%20It%20came%20with%20a%20trough%20side%20of%20clam%20chowder%20that%20Adam%20devoured.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFinally%20we%20had%20the%20Truffled%20Wild%20Mushroom%20Panini%20%E2%80%93%20Haus%20blend%20of%20fresh%20wild%20mushrooms%20/%20white%20truffle%20oil%20/%20cippolini%20onions%20/%20fresh%20arugula%20/%20gorgonzola%20/%20pressed%20on%20foccocia.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EEverything%20was%20great,but%20this%20was%20the%20best%20dish%20of%20the%20night,%20hands%20down.%20%20Adam%20doesn%E2%80%99t%20have%20a%20sense%20of%20smell%20and%20I%20was%20dying%20the%20whole%20meal%20that%20he%20couldn%E2%80%99t%20experience%20the%20scent%20coming%20off%20the%20truffled%20mushrooms.%20%20The%20earthiness%20with%20the%20creamy%20gorgonzola%20%E2%80%93%20which%20was%20far%20creamier%20than%20any%20other%20gorgonzola%20I%E2%80%99ve%20tried%20%E2%80%93%20was%20great.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20panini%20came%20with%20a%20side%20salad%20that%20was%20also%20impressive.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThere%20were%20several%20herbs,%20I%20couldn%E2%80%99t%20identify%20which%20ones,%20mixed%20into%20the%20lettuce%20and%20it%20had%20the%20most%20unique%20flavor.%20%20The%20honey%20mustard%20champagne%20vinaigrette%20(unpictured)%20was%20nice%20too.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOverall%20we%20had%20an%20amazing%20experience%20at%20Lagerhaus%2095%20and%20I%20can%E2%80%99t%20wait%20to%20go%20back!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESometimes%20great%20flavors%20seem%20to%20make%20you%20even%20hungrier%20for%20more%20and%20Adam%20and%20I%20stopped%20on%20the%20way%20home%20for%20a%20box%20of%20chocolates.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20ate%20half%20of%20every%20flavor,%20or%20two%20servings.%20%20A%20little%20excessive%20because%20they%20weren%E2%80%99t%20even%20that%20good%20but%20I%20kept%20thinking%20each%20flavor%20would%20be%20better.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20morning%20I%20tried%20a%20Chobani%202%25%20Passion%20Fruit%20Yogurt.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20good,%20my%20favorite%20Chobani%20yet!%20%20I%20love%20passion%20fruit%20in%20general%20but%20this%20one%20had%20the%20perfect%20balance%20of%20sour%20and%20sweet.%20%20If%20you%E2%80%99ve%20never%20eaten%20a%20passion%20fruit%20before%20the%20crunchy%20seeds%20might%20seem%20a%20little%20strange%20but%20I%20promise%20it%E2%80%99s%20worth%20a%20try.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENow%20I%E2%80%99ve%20got%20to%20shower%20and%20then%20I%E2%80%99m%20off%20to%20get%20my%20green%20on%20and%20make%20a%20trip%20to%20the%20grocery%20store.%20%20Are%20you%20wearing%20green%20today?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELike%20Loading...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERelated%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
