Steamed Alaska Pollock Gardiniere

Ingredientes

  • 3 c. diagonally sliced Swiss chard or possibly spinach
  •     Salt to taste
  •     Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
  • 4 x pollock fillets - (3 to 5 ounce ea) thawed if necessary
  • 2 tsp lemon or possibly lime juice
  • 4 x thin lemon slices
  • 4 x thin tomato slices
  • 1 tsp chopped fresh basil
  •     (or possibly 1/4 tspn dry basil/ crushed)

Direcciones

  1. Place Swiss chard on heatproof dish or possibly directly on steamer rack over boiling water; season chard with salt and pepper. Arrange pollock on chard, sprinkle with lemon juice, salt and pepper.
  2. Place a lemon slice and tomato slice on each portion; sprinkle with basil. Return water to boil; steam about 10 min or possibly till chard is tender and fish flakes when tested with a fork.
  3. This recipe yields 4 servings.
