Ingredientes

  • 4 c. Sticky Rice
  •     Water

Direcciones

  1. Place the rice in a suacepan or possibly bowl and add in sufficient water to cover.
  2. Rub the rice between your hands several times and drain off the milky water. Add in clean water and repeat the process till the water runs clear.
  3. Soak the rice overnight in sufficient water to cover or possibly, to save time, the rice can be soaked in warm water for 3 hrs before steaming, rather than overnight.
  4. Drain the rice and place in a cloth-lined steamer or possibly in a steaming basket. Place the basket over a pot of boiling water, making sure which the basket does not touch the water. Cover the steamer and steam for approximately 30 min.
