Ingredientes

  • 2 lb lean beef
  • 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil - (to 3 tbspns)
  • 2 x garlic cloves crushed
  • 2 x bay leaves
  • 1 Tbsp. wine vinegar
  • 4 ounce good-quality red wine
  •     Salt to taste
  •     Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
  •     Water as needed
  • 2 can boiled small white onions - (12 ounce ea)
  •     Warm cooked rice

Direcciones

  1. Saute/fry the beef in extra virgin olive oil. Add in garlic, bay leaves, wine vinegar, wine and salt and pepper. Add in sufficient water to cover. Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hrs, add in more water, if necessary. When stew is ready to serve, add in the onions and heat thoroughly. Serve over rice.
  2. This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
