Strawberry Ice Cream ( Gelato Di Fragole)

Ingredientes

  • 250 gm ripe strawberries
  • 1 x juice of 1/2 orange
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 60 gm icing sugar
  • 200 ml whipping cream
  •     few strawberries halved to decorate

Direcciones

  1. Puree the strawberries in an electric blender or possibly rub through a sieve then strain.
  2. Stir in the orange and lemon juices and sweeten to taste with icing sugar.
  3. Whip the cream till thick but not stiff.
  4. Gently mix in the strawberry mix.
  5. Turn into a freezerproof container cover and freeze till hard.
  6. Transfer to the refrigerator 1 hour before serving to soften.
  7. Spoon into individual glass dishes and decorate with strawberries to serve.
  8. Serves 2
