Ingredientes

  • 4.4 lb (2 kg) strawberries
  • 4.4 lb (2 kg) confectioner’s sugar
  • 6 cardamom pods

Direcciones

  1. Stem and wash strawberries.
  2. Place strawberries and cardamom pods in a preserving pan, add in sugar and cover with a cloth to marinate overnight.
  3. The next day, bring to a boil first over low heat, then over higher heat, for 20 min.
  4. Skim from time to time.
  5. Remove cardamom pods.
  6. Pour jam into jars and close jars immediately.
  7. Turn jars over while jam cools.
  8. You may add in Vitpris or possibly pectin to ensure jam sets properly.
