%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20just%20love%20Rhubarb%20Season%20and%20our%20rhubarb%20plants%20are%20going%20crazy%20at%20the%20moment!%20%20I%20am%20love,%20love,%20LOVING%20it!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20picked%20up%20some%20Spanish%20strawberries%20today.%20%20(I%20know%20naughty%20me.)%20%20They%20looked%20really,%20really%20good%20though%20and%20mine%20are%20only%20blossoming%20.%20.%20.%20sooo%20tooo%20early%20for%20English%20ones.%20%20I%20was%20really%20wanting%20a%20Strawberry%20and%20Rhubarb%20Crumble%20though,%20and%20just%20what's%20a%20gal%20to%20do!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20is%20easily%20my%20most%20favourite%20of%20all%20crumbles.%20%20Todd%20.%20.%20.%20he%20likes%20Apple%20Crumble%20best%20of%20all%20.%20.%20.%20for%20me%20though,%20it's%20this%20one.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYou%20get%20the%20slight%20tartness%20from%20the%20rhubarb%20and%20then%20that%20sweetness%20of%20the%20strawberries%20.%20.%20.%20and%20all%20topped%20off%20with%20a%20buttery/oaty/nutty%20crumble%20topping!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESoft%20and%20succulent%20fruit%20.%20.%20.%20oooozing%20with%20flavour!!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EToasty%20nutty%20topping%20.%20.%20.%20oooozing%20with%20crunch!!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERich%20cream%20dribbling%20into%20all%20those%20lovely%20crevices%20.%20.%20.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt's%20pretty%20hard%20to%20resist%20something%20that%20is%20so%20so%20so%20sooooooooo%20GOOD!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESeriously.%20%20I%20was%20very%20naughty%20with%20this,%20and%20I%20think%20I'm%20going%20in%20to%20polish%20off%20the%20leftovers%20for%20breakfast.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIf%20I'm%20not%20up%20for%20air%20by%20noon%20.%20.%20.%20you%20better%20send%20in%20a%20search%20party%20.%20.%20.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E*Strawberry,%20Rhubarb,%20Oat%20and%20Walnut%20Crumble*%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EServes%208%20to%2012%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20is%20worth%20waiting%20all%20year%20for.%20%20Delicious,%20delicious,%20DELICIOUS!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFor%20the%20Crumble%20Topping:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20the%20oven%20to%20190*C/375*F/%20gas%20mark%205.%20%20Butter%20a%20large%20glass%20baking%20dish%20and%20set%20aside.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMake%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ethe%20crumble%20first.%20%20Mix%20the%20flour,%20oats,%20sugar,%20salt%20and%20walnuts%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Etogether%20in%20a%20bowl.%20%20Pour%20the%20melted%20butter%20over%20top.%20%20Stir%20and%20press%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Etogether%20to%20make%20a%20few%20clumps.%20%20Put%20in%20the%20freezer%20while%20you%20make%20the%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Efilling.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EStir%20together%20the%20cornflour%20and%20sugar,%20mixing%20it%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Etogether%20well.%20%20Add%20the%20fruit%20and%20vanilla.%20%20Toss%20together%20gently%20to%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ecoat.%20%20Pour%20into%20the%20prepared%20baking%20dish.%20%20Remove%20the%20crumble%20from%20the%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Efreezer%20and%20sprinkle%20over%20the%20top.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBake%20for%2045%20minutes,%20or%20until%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ethe%20topping%20is%20golden%20brown%20and%20the%20filling%20is%20bubbling%20around%20the%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eedges.%20%20Cool%20for%20about%2020%20minutes%20before%20serving.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESpoon%20out%20into%20bowls%20to%20serve%20and%20pass%20the%20cream!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENote:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20is%20best%20eaten%20on%20the%20day.%20%20You%20can%20halve%20the%20recipe%20quite%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Esuccessfully%20if%20you%20don't%20want%20to%20make%20that%20much.%20%20Chill%20any%20leftovers,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ewrapped%20in%20the%20refrigerator.%20%20They're%20quite%20nice%20eaten%20for%20breakfast%20the%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Emorning%20after.%20%20*blush*%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
