Ingredientes

  • 1 lb grnd beef
  • 1 sm onion minced
  • 4 c. minced cabbage
  • 1 med green pepper minced
  • 1 c. uncooked instant rice
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 x 6 oz can tomato paste
  • 1 x 14-1/2 oz can diced tomatoes undrained
  • 1/2 c. ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar optional (1-2)
  • 1 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic pwdr

Direcciones

  1. In a skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat till meat is no longer pink; drain. Transfer to a slow cooker; add in cabbage, green pepper and rice. In a bowl, combine the water and tomato paste. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Pour over beef mix; mix well. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hrs or possibly till rice and vegetables are tender.
