%20is%20with%20food.%20(Let's%20not%20have%20a%20pyschologist%20analzye%20that%20statement,%20okay?)%20As%20August%20comes%20to%20a%20close,%20I%20start%20working%20some%20of%20my%20favorite%20soup%20recipes%20into%20the%20mix.%20It's%20just%20a%20comforting%20reminder%20of%20all%20the%20wonderful%20things%20that%20fall%20has%20to%20offer%20as%20well.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20could%20live%20off%20of%20soup.%20My%20boys%20aren't%20huge%20soup%20eaters,%20so%20I%20have%20to%20find%20amazing%20recipes%20that%20appeal%20to%20them.%20Otherwise%20they're%20forced%20to%20live%20off%20of%20peanut%20butter%20and%20jelly.%20While%20tasty,%20it's%20probably%20not%20nutritionally%20sound%20in%20bulk.%20But%20I%20digress.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOne%20of%20our%20favorite%20soups%20is%20Stuffed%20Pepper%20Soup.%20It's%20a%20thick%20hearty%20soup%20that%20even%20the%20most%20hurly%20burly%20preteen%20boys%20can%20wrap%20themselves%20around.%20It's%20also%20a%20quick%20dinner%20which%20automatically%20makes%20it%20a%20favorite%20for%20me.%20So%20give%20this%20a%20try%20when%20the%20weather%20cools%20down%20and%20see%20what%20you%20think.%20It's%20almost%20as%20good%20as%20Grandpa's%20stuffed%20peppers!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20your%20soup%20pot,%20brown%20the%20beef,%20garlic,%20pepper%20and%20onion.%20Drain%20off%20fat.%20Add%20tomatoes,%20tomato%20sauce,%20broth%20and%20tyme.%20Simmer%20at%20least%2020%20minutes.%20Add%20rice%20and%20serve.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E*I%20like%20to%20set%20out%20extra%20rice%20at%20the%20table.%20My%20oldest%20has%20entered%20the%20garbage%20disposal%20phase%20of%20his%20development,%20so%20he%20likes%20to%20scoop%20more%20into%20his%20bowl.%20Also,%20this%20is%20great%20simmered%20in%20the%20crockpot%20all%20day.%20Add%20the%20rice%20right%20before%20serving.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
