Ingredientes

  • 4 chops at least 1 inch thick
  • 2 cans tomato sauce (Spanish style)
  • 1 scant c. bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c. minced celery
  • 1/4 c. minced onion
  • Healthy pinch parsley flakes
  • Salt and pepper
  • Lowfat milk

Direcciones

  1. Have butcher make a pocket in side of pork chop without cutting through the bone.2. Mix all ingredients (except pork chops and tomato sauce) with just a little lowfat milk to hold ingredients together.
  2. Stuff chops with dressing.
  3. Use skewers or possibly toothpicks to hold chops closed.
  4. Sear chops in frying pan (ovenproof).
  5. Arrange chops in single layer in pan.
  6. Pour tomato sauce over chops.
  7. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hrs. Must be well done.
