Ingredientes

  • 1 c. Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 c. Grated beef suet
  •     Cool water as needed

Direcciones

  1. Sift flour with baking pwdr and salt. Fold in thoroughly beef suet (traditionally done with the hands by rubbing, but a pastry blender can be used). Add in sufficient cool water to make a stiffish dough which comes away from the sides of the bowl. Form into 12 balls. Drop onto boiling broth and cook, covered, for 10 min.
  2. This recipe yields sufficient dumplings for 6 servings.
