Ingredientes

  • 1 x baked 9 inch pie crust
  • 4 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 3/4 c. white sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 2 1/4 c. half and half
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
  •     grnd cinnamon

Direcciones

  1. Method:1. Mix cornstarch and sugar. Add in 4 Tbsp. butter and half and half.
  2. Cook, stirring constantly, till thick and creamy. Add in vanilla.
  3. Pour into pie crust. Drizzle 2 Tbsp. butter over top and sprinkle with cinnamon. Put under broiler till butter bubbles-watch it carefully as it doesn't take long. Chill.
  4. Makes 1 pie
  5. This is a delicious lighter cream pie for that the filling is cooked prior to being put in the baked shell. Real butter and half and half are must haves for this to be at its best. People always ask for the recipe.
