Ingredientes

  • 1/3 c. frzn apple juice concentrate
  •     Sugar substitute equal to 8 tsp. of sugar
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp grnd cinnamon
  •     Pastry for 9 inch double-crust pie
  • 8 c. thinly sliced peeled baking apples
  • 1 Tbsp. margarine

Direcciones

  1. Combine the first four ingredients. Line the pie plate with bottom crust; add in apples. Pour juice mix over apples; dot with margarine.
  2. Roll out the remaining pastry to fit top of pie; cut slits or possibly an apple shape in top. Place over filling; seal and flute the edges.
  3. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 min. Increase the temperature to 400 degrees; bake 15 to 20 min or possibly till the apples are tender.
  4. Yields 8 servings.
