%20I%20was%20lingering%20in%20bed%20yesterday,%20dreaming%20of%20a%20sweet%20treat%20combining%20caramel%20and%20chocolate.%20After%20toying%20with%20the%20idea%20for%20some%20time,%20it%20finally%20hit%20me%20that%20I%20had%20created%20a%20dessert%20along%20those%20lines%20a%20couple%20of%20Easters%20ago.%20(So%20much%20for%20being%20original!%20lol)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20following%20is%20a%20richer%20version%20of%20my%20Divine%20Caramel%20Chocolate%20Tarts%20combined%20with%20a%20superfoods-based%20caramel%20inspired%20by%20GlimR's%20Ca~Raw~Mella%20Bars.%20Superbly%20festive%20and%20yummy!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECarmella's%20'Super'%20Caramel%20Chocolate%20Tarts%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMakes%206%20tarts%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESift%20cacao%20and/or%20carob%20powder%20into%20a%20bowl.%20Add%20other%20ingredients%20and%20mix%20well%20with%20a%20spoon%20or%20whisk.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECarmella's%20Notes:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E~%20If%20the%20mixture%20thickens%20too%20quickly%20due%20to%20the%20agave%20or%20maple%20syrup%20being%20colder,%20no%20worries!%20Just%20pop%20the%20bowl%20in%20the%20D%20for%20a%20few%20minutes%20to%20soften%20it%20up.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E~%20As%20you%20can%20see%20in%20the%20picture%20below,%20the%20Chocolate%20Ganache%20topping%20had%20actually%20thickened%20up%20a%20bit%20by%20the%20time%20we%20were%20ready%20to%20assemble%20the%20tarts,%20but%20it%20still%20worked%20out%20just%20fine.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAssembly%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPress%20Chocolate%20Brownie%20Crust%20in%20small%20tart%20shells%20with%20removable%20bottoms.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPour%20some%20Super%20Caramel%20on%20crust.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECover%20with%20a%20layer%20of%20Dark%20Chocolate%20Ganache.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDecorate%20with%20walnuts%20and%20pecans.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESet%20in%20fridge.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDemold%20and%20enjoy%20in%20good%20company!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOh,%20here's%20Don%20giving%20me%20a%20hand%20assembling%20the%20tarts%20in%20our%20new%20kitchen.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20latter%20is%20humble%20but%20after%20Ashinah's%20hobbit%20one,%20I'm%20not%20complaining!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMore%20Notes...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20just%20made%20these%20again%20recently%20(I%20guess%20I%20better%20warn%20you,%20they%20are%20kind%20of%20addictive!)%20and%20a%20couple%20of%20things%20popped%20in%20mind:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E~%20There's%20actually%20enough%20Caramel%20filling%20to%20make%207%20or%208%20tarts.%20(You%20don't%20want%20the%20layer%20to%20be%20too%20thick%20as%20it%20is%20quite%20sweet.)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E~%20I%20find%20that%20a%20slightly%20bitter%20Chocolate%20Ganache%20balances%20the%20Caramel's%20sweetness%20better.%20I've%20amended%20the%20recipe%20to%20reflect%20this%20change.%20Also,%20I've%20increased%20the%20amounts;%20better%20have%20more%20than%20not%20enough.%20I%20have%20no%20doubts%20that%20you'll%20find%20other%20delicious%20uses%20for%20it!%20;-)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHappy%20Easter%20everyone!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
